Privacy Policy

Who we are

Currently. (“the app”) is an iOS app made by Currently (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how the app handles information. Questions? Email rrruco@gmail.com.

What we collect

Nothing personal. Currently. has no sign-up, no login, and no analytics SDKs. We don't collect names, emails, contacts, location, advertising identifiers, or usage analytics.

Where your data lives

The things you track — what you're reading, watching, and listening to — are stored locally on your device (and, if you enable it, in your own private iCloud via Apple, which we cannot access). The same data is shared with the app's home-screen widgets through a private on-device App Group. It never reaches a server we control.

Third-party search services

When you search for something to add, the app sends only your search text to the relevant catalog so it can return matching titles and cover art:

• Open Library — book search and covers (openlibrary.org)
• TMDB — film & TV search and posters (themoviedb.org)
• Last.fm — music search and album art (last.fm)

These requests carry your query and standard network metadata (like your IP address) to those providers, governed by their own privacy policies. We don't attach any identifier to them. If you never search, no requests are made.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app schedules them locally on your device (for example, an optional weekly nudge or a release-day reminder). No push server is involved and no token is sent to us.

Purchases

Currently. Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Payments and receipts are handled entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy — we never see your card or billing details.

Children

Currently. is not directed at children under 13 and we knowingly collect no data from anyone.

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and post the new version here.
